Blogmas Day 7: A Few Things I’m Grateful For

Blogmas Day 7: A Few Things I’m Grateful For

I cannot believe that 2017 is finally coming to an end. I feel excited for the New Year but I’m also sad to see this one ending. 2017 has been a good year but not without hardships and pain. It has been a difficult year for me in a lot of ways but I had soo much joy and laughter as well. I choose to be thankful so here are a few things I’m grateful for this year:

God: I am grateful to have God in my life. I definitely was not going to make it past this year without His love and wisdom. It is a blessing to know who I am and to have a sense of purpose and that is all because of Christ. A lot can happen in a year so it is important to hold on to God so that we do not lose sight of what is important.

Marriage: My dear husband and I will be married for two years on the 16th of January next year. Marriage has been an incredible experience filled with lessons and growth. It’s has not been easy but we have stayed strong together and are really happy. I love my husband soo much and I am soo blessed to be with him. I’m looking forward to many more wonderful years together.

Family: We have lost a few family members in the past couple of years which was and still is painful so I cherish those who are still there. I’m grateful for their contribution to our lives and the good times that we have had together.

Friends: My friends who are also part of my spiritual family are soo dear to me and their presence has enriched my life in many ways. I am thankful for all that we have learned together and from each other. I don’t know where I would be without them.

Health: I am grateful for health. I have had a few colds here and there but nothing life threatening and I am thankful to God for that. Many people are not at a good place in their health so it’s important to be thankful for my wellbeing and to live my life to the fullest.

Job: I am not at a point where I can blog full time at the moment so I am very grateful for my job despite all the challenges that come with it. A stable employment is very important and I am thankful for mine.

Blogging: I have been blogging for 6 month which is amazing and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I have learned and improved soo much at it and I’m looking forward to greater things in 2018. My aim is to inform and inspire you guys and I hope that I have done that this year.

I enjoyed doing Blogmas and I hope that you have enjoyed reading it. I hope you will end 2017 well and enter 2018 with joy and hopefulness.
