I love receiving and asking for skincare samples and it is soo enjoyable to put them to the test. Thankfully none of them have troubled my skin. In today’s post I will be sharing the skincare samples that I have been trying lately. Now, I will mostly be introducing the products to you and letting you know the benefits that they are said to have. I have not used most of them for long enough to see significant results since they are only samples.
The cleanser is a wash, scrub and mask in one. It has natural white clay which is said to effectively remove impurities and make-up to prevent breakouts. It has fine beads which gently exfoliate dead skin cells. This cleanser is also said to help remove and prevent shine and to mattify the skin. I love Nivea products, though I do not currently use many of them in my skincare routine, and I loved this one as well. It left my skin feeling fresh and clean but not dry. It is suitable to normal to oily skin.
The day cream is specially made with eventone pure active and vitamin E which is said to help even out the skin tone and prevent dark spots from appearing for a radiant complexion. This cream has an SPF of 15 which is awesome. The sample of this product only lasted for two days but my skin did feel well moisturised.
The superfoliant assists with giving the skin a more smoother appearance by resurfacing and deep cleansing it. You tap out about a half-teaspoon into very wet hands and create a creamy paste by rubbing hands together then rub over the face using circular motions. This must be done for about a minute then rinsed off thoroughly with warm water. It is supposed to be used daily but the lady at the Dermalogica store that I went to said that I should rather use it on alternate nights to prevent breakouts. I am used to more gritty exfoliators but this one was also pleasant to use and I felt like my skin was properly exfoliated after using it. My skin was left feeling smooth but not excessively dry. Love it!
The eye cream has Retinol Microspheres which target the signs of skin aging and it is said to reverse multiple signs of skin aging around the delicate eye area. It delivers potent age-fighting actives deep into the skin. This eye cream must be use at night and I loved applying it. It is very moisturizing and my eye area felt great after using it.
This hydrating day moisturiser is enriched with a special blend of active ingredients that protects the skin from damage caused by dehydration, while stimulating collagen synthesis. Daily use is said to assist in improving skin firmness and elasticity. I enjoyed using this lotion, it definitely left my skin hydrated and I love how it smells.
The serum is a luxurious concentrate of immortelle flower which is said to have maximum potency to correct deep wrinkles and maintain skin firmness. It must be applied day and night on clean face and neck.
The eye balm offers a velvety, soft formula which is said to help smooth, firm and visibly reduce dark circles and puffiness. It must also be applied day and night.
The cream offers triple action which is said to visibly reduce the appearance of wrinkles and to help restore firmness to the skin. It must be applied every morning and evening on the face and neck. The version that I tried is ideal for normal to dry skin but they do have a light version which I believe is more suited to oily skin like I have.
I have used these products from L’Occitane before and I love how the textured that they have and just how amazing my skin feels after using them. I love their floral smell as well.
I hope that you have discovered some products from this post that you can try as well. I love all of these brands and I enjoyed trying all of these products.
