I’m soo happy to write my first weight loss update. My goals is to lose 20 kilograms by the end of June 2018. I did not start on my plan in January because I was honestly still recovering from the festive season but February is the month that I made the changes that I needed to. Here is how it went:
My main goal for this month was to eat healthily and I have definitely improved on that. I have been eating really clean especially during the week. I have posted a few of the meals that I have been eating here on my blog as well as on my Instagram (please follow me on there) so please check those out. I also exercised (mostly weight training and a bit of cardio) at home and at the gym but not as consistently as I wanted to.
I honestly feel amazing! I have a lot more energy and taking better care of myself has made me a lot more positive about life. It’s a lot easier for me to wake up in the morning and carry out my daily activities. The internal change alone is soo gratifying. I have decided to not weigh myself for now so I will be relying on how I feel and how my clothes fit to see if I am making any improvement. My clothes don’t feel as tight as they did before. It’s still the first month and I am committed to continue until I reach my goal. I am really proud of myself because I have never committed for this long and I’m thankful to God for giving me the courage to pursue this again after failing for soo long.

I have decided to do the best that I can but not to obsess over things or to be too hard on myself. I was very unrealistic in my approach before and I ended up giving up but not this time! I am more than how much I weigh and I refuse to hate myself but I choose to love myself. Let’s have a healthy mind-set and put in the work.
